Jake Paul Accuses Dana of Protecting Jon Jones: Boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul sends another jab at Dana White over the Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou fight. Paul, who attended the press conference about Francis Ngannou’s return to the PFL after back-to-back boxing matches with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, was talking to the media after that.
Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones had a fight in a discussion between them when Francis was in the UFC. Knocking out the then and greatest heavyweight champion in UFC, Stipe Miocic, Ngannou was considered the best. Fans were rooting for his super-fight with Jon Jones when Jones decided to move up to the heavyweight division. But Francis left UFC due to the differences in negotiations with the company.
Fans accused Dana White of protecting Jon Jones from the animal in Francis Ngannou. After Ngannou joined PFL, a cross-fight between the two was put forward in front of Dana White, and he was somehow interested in the idea. But no action has been taken on that yet.
When Jon Jones said he would be fighting Stipe, fans were already accusing me of being scared, considering Stipe is 42 years old and a much more dangerous younger Tom Aspinal is currently the interim champion of the organization. Jon Jones came up to defend the Stipe fight on X.
“Man, I appreciate the boss and the comments he made at last night’s press conference. Sounds like I have some massive options on the table, an athletes dream. Right now I need to get back to focusing on the task at hand.
“Despite what some of the casuals think, Stipe is really no joke. It’s crazy that we live in a world where you can go from the best heavyweight ever to washed up after a bad performance. The reality is Francis would’ve knocked out 98% of people on the planet that night, but somehow Stipe is washed up? Stipe not competing in so long tells me that he’s had plenty of time to heal and rebuild. Let me get back to focusing on the actual task at hand,, that’s what got me this far. My focus, I do what others can’t.”

Jake called Francis one of the ‘baddest men’ on earth, and according to him, Mr. White is protecting Jon Jones from the former.
“I think Dana is scared to make it happen. I think he doesn’t want to lose his horse in Jon Jones. I love Jon Jones but that’s too much of a risk for Dana to take. Francis is one of the – if not the – baddest man on the planet. I think Dana’s scared. I don’t think he would want to do that but the MMA fans want that. Doesn’t everyone want that? That’s what makes this fight exciting is Ferreira being an insane competitor but he would become the man, he would become the greatest heavyweight in MMA. But currently as it stands, Francis Ngannou is the man to beat.”
