The Real Madrid vs Barcelona rivalry has been here forever, and some of their players are known to hold a dislike for each other. And sometimes this dislike grows even after their retirement.
Former Barcelona and Manchester City player Sergio Aguero is famous for keeping grudges against his rivals, especially against Cristiano Ronaldo, who is being the opposite side of his friend Lionel Messi in the GOAT debate.

Sergio Aguero Sends Dig At Kylian Mbappe
Recently, Aguero commented on Real Madrid’s new Galactico signing, Kylian Mbappe. The Argentine thinks that Mbappe is not a difference-maker at Real Madrid, as it’s always the team over the player. But Aguero certainly thinks that the Frenchman is a favourite to become the La Liga top scorer.
“I think he’s a shoo-in to be La Liga’s next Pichichi (top scorer). Nevertheless, a single player doesn’t make the difference. The team does. There’s many of those vying to take the Champions, and they’ll fight tooth-and-nail for it.”
As reported by GOAL, Aguero also talked about Real Madrid’s chances of winning the Champions League this year. But the Manchester City legend thinks it will be harder this time for anyone to win the UCL considering the new structure of the league.
“Nobody’s ever been able to count Real Madrid out. No need to say that. Mbappe joining them only serves to make them a bigger threat.”
“We’ll have to see how it plays out. The changes are major, it’ll be hard to get used to them. I’m sure we’ll have more to make a solid judgement in due time.”
Mbappe and Real Madrid will start their UCL 2024-25 journey on September 18 when they meet VfB Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu. Kylian Mbappe has scored 3 goals in 3 La Liga games for the Whites so far.
