KL whose bat was visibly not touching the ball was given not-out by the on-field umpire. But the third umpire, despite having much visual evidence to overturn the decision of the on-field umpire, reversed the call and gave an out. In the reply, it was clear that it was Rahul’s pad that had touched the bat, not the ball.
