After the Mumbai Indians removed Rohit Sharma from the captaincy without even having a press conference or a word from the Indian captain, social media went fuming over their decision. Fans called it disgusting and disrespectful and bashed the Mumbai Indians on Twitter. Their Twitter account lost 400k followers within an hour of the announcement of a new captain.

Will Rohit Sharma join the Chennai Super Kings?

This is something that is to be waited for and seen. Since CSK captain MS Dhoni will most probably untie his pads after the IPL 2024, CSK would need a replacement for him. As Rohit has a few years in him as a captain and a player, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Chennai went and signed him for the IPL.
