Pakistan Team Frustrated Over Long Lectures: The Pakistan men’s cricket team has not been having the best time since the 2023 Cricket World Cup. After the side’s disappointing group-stage exit in the World Cup in India, the national team changed captains in all formats. Since then, they were humiliated in a 3-0 Test series loss against Australia and have now lost the first two T20I against New Zealand in a five-match series.

Now, another negative report has emerged from the Pakistan locker room, as it seems that the players are just not feeling the lectures given by the new Team Director Mohammed Hafeez, and might find them long and repetitive.
Hafeez, who replaced Mickey Arthur and Grant Bradburn following the 2023 World Cup, is also the head coach of the team at the moment. His first assignment in his current duel role was the Australia tour, where the team under Shan Masood’s captaincy failed to even draw one of the three matches, let alone win any.
As per the Pakistan Team Frustrated Over Long Lectures, Now that the team morale must be at an all-time low, the Men in Green are reportedly unhappy with Hafeez’s approach to the players and how he repeats things during his long lectures during team meetings.
“He holds very long meetings and gives long lectures and some of the players get restless because the same things are repeated,”a media report stated about Mohammed Hafeez and the Pakistan team.
After comprehensively losing the first two T20Is against New Zealand, the Asian giants will now face the Kiwis in the 3rd of 5 matches on January 17 in Dunedin’s University Oval. A win in this match might just kickstart an improbable comeback in the series. With the T20 World Cup being just under six months away, a win in an away series will be a massive deal for Pakistan, if they can pull it off.
