Peterson Wants Kohli to Leave RCB: Former English star Kevin Peterson wants RCB legend Virat Kohli to leave the team and join somewhere where he can win trophies. Kevin believes that Kohli deserves to get a hold of that trophy he has been craving since the onset of the competition.

According to Kevin, Kohli should choose a winnable franchise at this point in his career. He thinks that though Virat has been consistently performing every season, his teammates have always let him down.
“Many of the greats in other sports have left their teams to pursue glory. Similarly, Virat Kohli has consistently performed at an exceptional level; winning the Orange Cap multiple times. Yet, his franchise has continued to underperform,” said Pietersen on Star Sports.
“Delhi is the place where Virat needs to go. Virat can go away and stay at home most of the time, I know he has a home in Delhi. He has a young family. He can spend more time there. He is a Delhi boy. Why can’t he go back? Delhi are as desperate as Bengaluru”

“While the star power Kohli brings to the team is immense, but he deserves to play for a franchise that can win a trophy with him. He has tried so hard, and it’s time for his efforts to be rewarded with a championship. Kohli is one of the all-time greats of the game. He has earned the right to play for a successful, trophy-winning franchise that can match his world-class abilities,” he continued.
But Peterson’s suggestion was bizarre. He wants Kohli to go to the Delhi Capitals, a team that has never won an IPL, just like RCB.
“I actually think it should be Delhi. Delhi is the place where Virat needs to go. Virat can go away and stay at home most of the time, I know he has a home in Delhi. He has a young family. He can spend more time there. He is a Delhi boy. Why can’t he go back? Delhi are as desperate as Bengaluru,” Pietersen added.
