On the contrary, Rajawat is going to compete against the number one seed, Kenta Nishimoto from Japan.
In the men’s singles, Nishimoto won against Chia Hao Lee from Taipei with a score of 21-18, 21-11. On the other hand, in the women’s singles, Tanya managed to win with a score of 21-17, 21-18 against Leonice Huet from France. Meanwhile, Aakarshi had to come back from a game down to beat Natsuki Nidaira from Japan with a score of 8-21, 21-13, 8-21.

Tasnim Mir fought hard but lost to Yvonne Li from Germany with a score of 22-20, 13-21, 5-21. Later in the day, B Sai Praneeth will start his men’s singles campaign against Jun Hao Leong from Malaysia.
Later on Wednesday, Ashmita Chaliha along with two mixed doubles pairs, Ashwini Ponnappa and Sumeeth Reddy, and Sikki Reddy and Rohan Kapoor, will also participate in the event.
