WPL 2024 Full Schedule Announced: The schedule for the second-ever edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) has been released. The tournament in 2024 will see the five teams compete for the ultimate glory in women’s franchise cricket.
The five teams in the tournament are – Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriorz, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Gujarat Giants. Last year’s tournament saw the Mumbai Indians, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, defeat the Med Lanning-led Delhi Capitals by seven wickets in the final to be crowned the first-ever WPL Champion.
The 2024 tournament, just like last season, will see all five teams play each other twice. The team that finishes first in this league phase will directly qualify for the final, while the teams finishing second and third will play an eliminator, the winner of which will become the second team in the final.

WPL 2024 will kick off with the rematch of last season’s final as the Mumbai Indians will take on the Delhi Capitals on Friday, February 23rd in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In fact, the tournament will see its first 11 matches be played in Bengaluru, while the remaining nine league matches, plus the eliminator and the final will be played in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.
