Jaipur Pink Panthers Qualify For Playoffs in PKL 2023-24: Jaipur Pink Panthers’ historic run of being undefeated in the Pro Kabaddi League extends to 13 matches as they defeated Tamil Thalaivas in their most recent match 42-27. With this win, not only was their record-breaking streak extended, but they also became the first team to qualify for the playoffs one month before the season ends.
The 2023-24 season of PKL has been sensational for the Pink Panthers so far. After winning their second title last season, they did not have the best start this time around. After four matches, JPP has won one, drew one, and lost two matches in the league, but that is where their fortunes took a turn
Jaipur Pink Panthers Continue Undefeated Streak
Ever since defeating the Patna Pirates 28-29 in their fifth match this season, the Jaipur-based side has not looked back. Since then, they have won 11 and drawn 2 matches.
This run included the Jaipur leg of the PKL, where the Pink Panthers competed for four days in a row at their home venue of Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. The two-time champions won all four matches in Jaipur, placing them at the top of the table.

When the Pink Panthers demolished Mandeep Singh’s Bengal Warriors 42-25, they equalled the previous record of the longest undefeated streak in PKL history of 11 matches, set by U Mumbau in 2016. Jaipur’s 28-28 draw against Bengaluru Bulls on January 28 pushed them past that record with a 12-match undefeated streak.
Jaipur Pink Panthers Qualify For Playoffs in PKL 2023-24
Jaipur Pink Panthers have now made it to the playoffs of the 10th season of the PKL, but they would want to keep the ball rolling. Not only to maintain the momentum but also to finish top in the league. While six teams make it to the playoffs in the league, only the top 2 automatically qualify for the semi-finals. The other teams compete in eliminator matches to make it to the semi-finals.
With their qualification into the playoffs, Jaipur Pink Panthers also have the opportunity to win the title back-to-back years, a feat that has not been achieved since Patna Pirates won three titles in a row in seasons 3,4 and 5.
